Higienos institutas 2009-2015 metais vykdė projektą „visuomenės sveikatos priežiūros specialistų rengimo, kvalifikacijos kėlimo ir tobulinimo, poreikio planavimo sistemos sukūrimas“ (nr. Vp1 – 4. 3 – vrm – 02 – v – 01 – 001). Iš šio projekto lėšų nupirktos naujausios knygos visuomenės sveikatos ir darbo medicinos tematika. Šiomis knygomis galima naudotis lietuvos medicinos bibliotekos 3-iame filiale (higienos institutas, didžioji 22, vilnius, tel. 262 99 31).
